SENIOR FORESTRY OFFICER (TRAINING)- MINISTRY OF FISHERIES

The Ministry of Fisheries & Forests is seeking suitably qualified applicants for the following position:

MFF 17/53: - SENIOR FORESTRY OFFICER (TRAINING)
Appointment Period: 3 years
Duty Station: Training & Education Division

Person Specification
The post requires officers with Advanced Certificate in Forestry Management, Bachelor degree in Forestry or related Field and registered as a Training Officer

Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience working in a training institution in a public sector or corporate environment;
• Working knowledge of curriculum development, training design and course delivery
• Knowledge of relevant Acts and policies and also in relation to the forestry sector
• Practical knowledge of project management
• Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to conduct training using the most common training aids and tools;
• Ability to work with a team and also possess good public relation qualities
• Ability to utilise computer programs to support other training related programmes of the organisation

Compensation: PRO2: $29,530
