Public consultations on media decree deferred

Due to the onset of Tropical Cyclone Tomas, the Permanent Secretary for Information and Government spokesperson Lt Col Neumi Leweni advices that the public consultations on the Media Decree expected to commence Wednesday 17th March 2010 have been deferred until further notice.
Once re-activated, the consultations are expected to be held in Suva, Lautoka and Labasa.
