The draft document of the People’s Charter for Change, Peace and Progress is currently being distributed in the Western Division.

This was confirmed to the Department of Information by an official at the Commissioner Western Office in Lautoka.

Press Secretary Commissioner Western, Waisale Tora said that copies of draft People’s Charter and the State of the Nation Economy report have been delivered to all the districts in the west for distribution yesterday.

Mr Tora said TASS officials were also conducting training to delegated Government officials in the west, who will take part in the public outreach and consultation process.

“TASS officials started yesterday at Sigatoka in the morning and Nadi in the afternoon,” he said.

“Today they will be at Rakiraki in the morning and Tavua in the afternoon and for Friday they will be in Ba in the morning and Lautoka in the afternoon.

Mr Tora said the Commissioner Western yesterday travelled to Tavua and Ba to meet with both the District Officers on the important task ahead of them.
