Ratu Isoa Gavidi has been appointed the new Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Public Service Commission chairman Rishi Ram confirms, the appointment was made by the Constitutional Offices Commission. The Interim Attorney General confirmed yesterday afternoon, that there are no legislations to stop Digicel from using the Fiji Flag in its sim-cards. Aiyaz Sayed-Kaiyum told One National News, that he was wrongly informed of the use of the Coat of Arms on the sim cards, which resulted in his comments on One National News on Monday night. Fiji’s ailing sugar industry has prompted the Agriculture Ministry to look for markets where Fiji can sell refined white sugar.
