The interim government in its attempt to archive all state information has encouraged participants at an audio-visual workshop to gain the necessary skills collect, manage properly and kept for future use. Addressing workshop participants at the National Archives, Deputy Secretary for Information, Major Neumi Leweni said record keeping in todays society was vital. (FT)

Fiji has been commended for its persistent efforts to prevent and control the spread of Non-Communicable Diseases in Fiji by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Speaking at the launch of the NCD Campaign materials launch yesterday, WHO representative to the South Pacific, Dr Corrie Capuano said Fiji was one of the first countries to do the NCD STEPS survey and to publish it.
