Rewa Co-operative Company Limited and its share holders are calling on the police to resolve a pending case that involved the mismanagement of resources at the company. Company chairman Josefa Serulagilagi said there has been mismanagement of resources by most senior officers in the past. (FT)

A total of $238,563 has been raised from this years Vodafone Hibiscus Festival, an increase of almost 33 percent from last year. Chairman of the organising committee Dhansukh Lal Bhika said the funds are distributed to 42 different Non Government Organisations. Mr Bhika said 2008 was another successful year for the annual festival of the Capital city. (FT)

Interim Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has made it clear that the work done by the interim regime now is not about legality or illegality but about building the nation. Speaking to a local radio station, Commodore Bainimarama was responding to statements made that the interim regime is illegal. (FT)

Old scholars of Adi Cakobau School converged on familiar ground in Sawani to celebrate the schools 60th birthday on yesterday. President Ratu Josefa Iloilo was the chief guest at the celebration which drew more than 500 old scholars from all parts of the world.(FT)

The President will not dismiss the interim Cabinet and is firm on letting the regime take Fiji to elections. Responding to a call by the National Federation Party for the Cabinet's dismissal for failing to carry out the presidential mandate, the President's office maintained that responsibility would remain with the interim Government.
