North response forms delivered to Suva

Officials involved in the consultation of the draft Peoples Charter for Change, Peace and Progress have sent 50,000 response forms to the National Council for Building a Better Fiji head office in Suva.

The Commissioner Northern Office revealed that officials of the National Council of Building a Better Fiji based in the North division, this week have also confirmed that more than 50,000 copies of response forms have been delivered to the TASS office in Suva.

The forms clearly states the support and the wish of the people on the draft Charter, and in the case the three provinces of Cakaudrove, Bua and Macuata.

The response forms is expected to be escorted by police officers from the North to Suva.

Meanwhile, in the Northern Division Charter consultation still continues within the main centres of Labasa.

Current figure shows that the Northern division has achieved 57,888 people have been consulted so far which is equivalent to 75.90 percent.
