PM to be chief guest at Rotuma Day

Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will tour Rotuma and be Chief Guest at the annual Rotuma Day Celebrations next week.

The Prime Minister’s visit is upon the invitation of the Rotuma Island Council.

Commodore Bainimarama during the course of the tour will inspect development projects whilst on the island.

The PM will be accompanied by relevant Ministers and a team of officials.

The Minister for Works & Transport, Timoci Natuva and Minister for Industry, Tourism, Trade & Communication, Tom Ricketts and Minister for Health, Women and Social Welfare, Dr Jiko Luveni will also be part of the trip.

The tour will commence from Monday 12th May to Thursday 15th.
