The Fiji Kisan Sangh has welcomed the $1billion deal for the supply of raw sugar as preferential imports to the European Union market over the next seven years. Sangh general secretary Kallu Dhani Ram said the deal between the Fiji Sugar Corporation and traditional EU market buyer Tate K Lyle was good news to the industry and country as a whole. (FT)
