NCBBF thankful to Tailevu Provincial Council

The NCBBF would like to express its gratitude to the Tailevu Provincial Council for opening its doors to Public Relations teams from the Technical and Support Secretariat (TASS).

The NCBBF team was represented at the Council meeting yesterday by Adi Finau Tabakaucoro, Ratu Meli Vesikula and TASS officials.

The Tailevu Provincial Council has decided to open its doors to the NCBBF and allow the PR teams to hold discussions and obtain submissions from the people.

Adi Finau in response to the kind gesture thanked the Council for their decision in allowing teams to visit villages.

This is a positive indication that the people of Tailevu want to engage with the NCBBF and be part of the process towards the formulation of the Peoples Charter and help build the nation for the better.

Adi Finau also urged the people to come forward and make submissions to the NCBBF.

She clarified yesterday that there was no Charter, and that the Charter will only be in place once submissions were received from members of the public.

Furthermore, Adi Finau said the three Task Teams would confer on issues concerning Governance, Leadership and Constitutional Reform, Growing the Economy, and Social Cultural Identity and National Building.
