First ever awareness programme for Real Estate Agents

The Real Estate Agents Licensing Board as part of its awareness campaign will be conducting its first-ever public awareness and promotion programme for Real Estate Agents and those associated with the business of real estates.

The Minister for Industry, Commerce, Tourism and Communications, Mr Tom Ricketts will be officially launching this very significant program at about on Friday 23rd May 2008 at the Southern Cross Hotel.

There will be a comprehensive presentation by Mr Timoci Waqaisavou who is a consultant currently involved in the formulation and implementation of this new legislation.

This presentation will also encompass of the processes and procedures of obtaining a Real Estate Agent License.

There would also be a session focused on the discussion on the roles and responsibilities of real estate agents, which, will be followed, by a Question and Answer session.

Similar programmes are to be conducted in Nadi for the Western proponents on the May 29th and in Savusavu on the June 6th for Northern individuals.
