PM to open Nadoi Village Church Extension

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will open the new extension of the Nadoi Methodist Church in Rewa tomorrow.
The project will facilitate the increase in numbers of congregation and also act to retain a viable building that will be utilized as an Evacuation Centre during disasters.
Nadoi Village is located in a flood prone area with a population of 228 people with 49 households and the main source of income is sale of river resources, coconuts and root crops at the Nausori Market.
The village is reticulated with water and the project will greatly assist the villagers in their daily livelihood.
The development will bring upon unity amongst villagers considering the communal working partnership and the extension will facilitate the space needed for the clans large religious service gathering conducted monthly.
It will also serve as an institution that religious teachings will be taught as a source of combating crimes to the youths of the congregations.
Government contributed under the Village Improvement scheme $30,000 for the project. The RFMF Engineers assisted in the construction of the project.
