2009 National Budget submissions

The Interim Government has begun preparations for formulating the 2009 Budget. Government’s intention is to ensure that the immediate to medium term policy objectives of stabilizing public finances and securing economic growth are achieved. The 2009 Budget is expected to be handed down on the first week of November, 2008.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance, National Planning, Sugar Industry and Public Utilities invites employer organizations, companies, civil societies and key stakeholders to provide written submissions for consideration in the formulation of the 2009 Budget by 30th July, 2008. Please note that submissions received after the designated date will not be considered.
