In his closing address, the Tourism Minister commended the dedication and enthusiasm of participants, underscoring its transformation into a hub for knowledge, cooperation, and progression within the tourism sector.
“It is imperative that we equip you all with the tools, knowledge, and resources you need to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.”
“Through specialised training initiatives, panel debates, and engaging workshops, we hope to empower our local operators and elevate their products. By investing in your growth and development, we aim to strengthen our tourism industry as well as foster the socio-economic well-being of our communities.”
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that tourism plays a critical role in fostering prosperity and bolstering local enterprises, and the coalition government advocates for practices that are both responsible and inclusive.
The four-day symposium, held under the theme “Empowering Our Tourism Future,” witnessed engaging dialogues, idea sharing, and networking sessions aimed at addressing critical issues confronting the tourism industry.
