Government House held a swearing in ceremony for four new magistrates on Monday.
The ceremony was officiated by His Excellency the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
Mohammed Saneem is a graduate in Law from University of the South Pacific and also holds a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice. He was the Deputy Registrar of the Legal High Court of Fiji from January this year.
Charles Ratakele, a law degree graduate from USP and Vanuatu, was a State Counsel of the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions from September 2010 till February 2011.
Ro Alipate Mataitini was another new magistrate sworn in. He attained a law degree in 2006. He was a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Fiji.
Siromi Dokonivalu Turaga holds a Bachelor of Law and Arts degree with nine years experience in the legal profession having served in the Attorney-General Chambers.
