RECRUIT INTAKE FOR FIJI CORRECTIONS SERVICE

A Basic Recruit Course Intake for the Fiji Corrections Service (FCS) is concurrently being conducted in Suva, Lautoka and Labasa.

Applicants from 18-35 years of age undertook a face to face interview as well as a psychological test which will gauge their personalities.

Tomorrow morning (Friday 20th) the applicants will also undergo a Required Fitness Level (RFL) test in which they are to run under the required time of 10 minutes and 30 seconds from School of Maritime Studies in Laucala Bay Road to Suva Grammar School in Nasese.

The FCS is looking at recruiting 105 new recruits in January, 2014 in which they will undergo 12 weeks of intensive training at the Naboro Corrections Centre before joining as corrections officers.
