Every child in Fiji grows up with a sense of excitement about Diwali. All over the country, candles are lit and Fijians celebrate with their families, friends and neighbours.

As your Prime Minister, I regard the delivery of basic services to all Fijians as the Government’s main priority.

It’s a special pleasure for me to be in Votualevu today to open this new shopping complex.

As Chairman of the Board and Minister for iTaukei Affairs, I’m pleased to have the opportunity to address this most important of our nation’s institutions and its staff.
