CIVIL SERVICE REFORM MANAGEMENT UNIT - SUPPORT OFFICER

Duty Station: Suva

Position Purpose

The position provides administration and logistics support to the CSRMU management team to ensure that all activities are resourced as required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a register of queries and complaints;
2. Provide administrative support to all activities of the Unit, including but not limited to, ensuring all supplies and support required for activities are available on time and to the quality specified;
3. Complete administrative and financial requests, forms and reports as required.

Knowledge and Experience (maximum 8 in total)

1. An Under graduate qualification in public administration or management (or equivalent relevant experience)
2. At least 2 years experience providing administrative support to change related programs;

Skills and Abilities

1. Organisational skills and the ability to communicate with people at different levels and from different backgrounds and experience;
2. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to follow instructions to meet tight and immovable deadlines;
3. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in a sensitive environment;
4. Capacity to utilise computer programs to support daily operations
5. Service oriented approach, with a commitment to supporting the operational and corporate environment of the organisation.

Eligibility

All applicants for employment in the Civil Service Reform Management Unit must be of good character, with a background that demonstrates their commitment to the public service values contained in the Fijian Constitution. Applicants must also be Fijian Citizens, under age 55, in sound health, with a clear police record. The selected applicant will be required to provide a medical certificate and police clearance prior to taking up duty.

Compensation: Salary Band: F ($22,528.74 - $36,103.75
