Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum attended a farewell reception for the New Zealand High Commissioner to Fiji, His Excellency, Jonathan Curr and Mrs Fololeni Curr at their residence last night.
In addressing the guests gathered to farewell him, Mr Curr reflected on his tenure in Fiji and thanked the Fijian Government and various stakeholders for all its hospitality, cooperation and friendship over the years.
He added that in the course of his term he has seen the relationship between the Fijian Government and the New Zealand Government grow stronger and more resilient through the work that has taken place between the two countries.
High Commissioner Curr took up his role in Fiji in 2018 and officially finishes off his term this Friday, on 10 December 2021.
