The Ministry of Education has advised that all primary and secondary schools in the Eastern and Central Division will be closed till further notice.
This will take effect from tomorrow, the 3rd of April 2012.
Ministry of Education permanent secretary Dr Brij Lal has called on parents and guardians around the country to exercise caution during this period of adverse weather conditions.
The Ministry will announce when schools are likely to resume classes.
