COLLABORATION IS ESSENTIAL: ASSISTANT MINISTER TUBUNA

20/12/2024

The Coalition Government is dedicated to fostering partnerships with local communities by providing necessary financial resources while ensuring that communities and their members actively contribute to the efforts.

This was highlighted by the Assistant Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Hon. Sakiusa Tubuna at the commissioning of a new footpath project at Burekalou, Lami today (20.12.24).

The Assistant Minister acknowledged the community for their participation in this developmental initiative, supported by the Coalition Government.

“It is important to recognise that no development can be successfully undertaken by the government alone; collaboration is essential.”

He noted while many villagers may struggle to cultivate a sense of unity, he was grateful to observe that the residents of Burekalou continue to demonstrate that collaboration is still possible.

“The Coalition Government is committed to supporting you, regardless of your location; our presence will always be felt, and we will strive to meet your needs.”

Assistant Minister Tubuna also emphasised to the residents of Burekalou that regardless of their location, whether in the remote interior of Vitilevu or elsewhere, they can always rely on the Government's support.
