The Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has conveyed his condolences at the passing of former New Zealand Governor General Sir Paul Reeves.
Sir Reeves died Sunday (14/08/11) morning after a battle with cancer.
Communicating directly to his New Zealand counterpart Mr John Key, the Fijian Prime Minister said that despite Sir Paul Reeves passing, the former Governor General would be remembered by the people of Fiji.
“It was with great sadness that I learnt of the passing of the former Governor General of New Zealand Sir Paul Reeves on Sunday, August 14. Sir Paul Reeves will be remembered by the nation of Fiji,” Commodore Bainimarama said today.
