Members of the public has been advised that a curfew will be reactivated from 8pm tonight until 7am tomorrow.
Government Spokesperson and Permanent Secretary for Information, National Archives and Library Services of Fiji, Lt. Col Neumi Leweni confirms that the curfew hours will be activated in the Central and Eastern Division from 8pm to 7am tomorrow.
Lt. Col Leweni said the Northern Division is already under curfew but not in the Western Division
“This will continue indefinitely until further notice should Tropical Cycle Tomas continue to affect the Fiji Group.”
Lt. Col Leweni said vehicle passes will be issued from all Police Stations around the country but will be issued only to vehicles used for the purposes of essential services.
