The Director Disaster Management Office, Mr Manasa Tagicakibau today announced the Declaration of State of Natural Disaster for the Northern and Western Division effective from today (Tuesday December 18th, 2012).
The State of Natural Disaster will be in effect for 15 days.
Mr Tagicakibau said this is to allow authorities and stakeholders to speed up rehabilitation works in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Evan.
