Police would also like to remind night club patrons to be careful whom they associate themselves with at parties and to keep their drinks guarded at all times.
This is due to recent raids by the Police Drug Unit revealing date rape drug.
“We believe it is out there in the public and it has been used on people who are unaware and who misinterpret its effects with that of a simple blackout from binge drinking,’’ said the Police spokesperson, Mr Fred Elbourne.
“So we would like to advise, especially young women or all women for that matter, who are the target groups to be aware of this when in nightclubs, where in the dim of the lights the pills can be slipped in your drinks.”
