Minister for Defence, National Security and Immigration Ratu Epeli Ganilau last night (16.11.10) tendered his resignation to the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
The Minister for Primary Industries Joketani Cokanasiga will now be the acting Minister of Defence, Immigration and National Security.
He will also be the Acting Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will return from his trade mission in China early next week.
