EDUCATION MINISTER CHECKS IN ON STUDENTS

The Minister for Education, National Heritage, Culture, Arts and Library Services, Filipe Bole today continued his visit to six schools in the Central Division.

Minister Bole said the purpose of his visit was to check on how classes had started for the first school term.

“I will be making visits during the first month of school.”

Minister Bole also urged teachers at the schools he visited to make education a worthwhile experience for students.

Commending the Minister’s visit, head teacher at Pundit Shreeder Maharaj College, Dhirendra Prakash thanked the Minister for his timely visit.

“The visit today by the Minister will greatly empower students here that are at school today,” Mr Prakash said.

Minister Bole is expected to visit schools in Navua tomorrow.
