EDUCATION MINISTER SENDS WELL WISHES TO STUDENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

 The Hon Minister for Education, Dr Mahendra Reddy has sent well wishes to all students writing the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination next week.

The Examination begins on Monday, 3rd of November with 12,826 students writing the examination. There are 166 centers within the country in which this examination is instituted.

“This examination is a benchmark for higher education and employment opportunities. I am urging all year 12 students to maximize this opportunity and ensure theysecure scholarships and employment in future,” the Hon. Minister said.

With the daylight saving beginning on the 2nd of November, the Minister has also cautioned teachers, parents, students and the examination supervisors to appropriately align their time.

“Teachers, parents, students and examination supervisors must align their time accordingly to ensure there is uniformity in the administration of the Year 12 examination. This is an important occasion for the students and we all need to render our support to allow them to perform to their full potential,” Dr Reddy said.

The first paper will be accounting which begins at 9.00am.

The Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination ends on Friday, 14th of November.
