Minister Premila Kumar became the first Education Minister to visit Banaban Primary School on Rabi Island yesterday (03/08/22).
This was revealed by the school administration while welcoming the Minister and her delegation to the school.
Minister Kumar emphasised the importance of education as this would not only improve a child's life as they mature, but would create a ripple effect in their family and community as a whole.
She held a talanoa session with the management and teachers where they were able to raise their issues and concerns directly to the Minister.
Minister Kumar also handed over three Samsung Tablets and stationaries to the school.
