In its pursuit to make services easily accessible to the public, the Ministry of Education, National Heritage, Culture, Arts and Library Services will hold an exhibition show in Suva tomorrow.
This initiative is part of Government’s overall commitment to allow the public to easily access Government services and resources; a move designed to also allow public servants to respond to public concerns and queries.
This event will be held at the Government Service Centre which used to be the office premises for the Fiji Visitors Bureau.
The Minister for Education Filipe Bole who will open tomorrow’s event is urging the public to come out in numbers and utilize this service rendered by the Ministry of Education, National Heritage, Culture, Arts and Library Services.
“We have new initiatives and reforms that will roll out this year and I am inviting the public to come and enlighten themselves with the many opportunities available now for the education of their children. We also have the Department of Library Services and the Department of National Heritage, Culture and Arts with us so this is an opportune time to secure their services and assistance,” Minister Bole said.
“The roadshow will roll out to the West and North in February and in the Eastern division in March. We want to reach out to all parts of the country and ensure that everyone is informed of all the available opportunities offered to ensure that all Fijian children secure a pathway to higher education and employment opportunities.”
Minister Bole will officially open tomorrow’s event 10.00a.m. and also launch the Ministry’s Annual Corporate Plan and Business Plan.
The roadshow will begin in Suva for two days on the 27th and 28th of January and move to Nausori on the 30th and 31st of January.
