Pack Leader Pacific PTE Limited, a newly registered employment recruitment agency yesterday (4/08/2022) received its certificate of authorsation from the Permanent Secretary of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, Osea Cawaru to conduct any business of registering, recruiting and deployment of workers for overseas employment.
The launch of the employment agency is a great initiative put forward by the Pack Leader as it will add value, support success and generate employment growth in line with the Ministry’s focus.
Mr Cawaru highlighted that the approval given to Pack Leader Limited is part of the Employment Relations (Employment Agencies) Regulations 2008 to ensure that all employment agencies operating in Fiji, sending potential workers overseas follow the due process of registration and obtaining an authorisation from the Ministry.
“This registration process is to ensure that we protect our Fijian workers who will be employed overseas through the authorised agency.”
We’re thankful to Pack Leader Limited for following the due process, therefore authorisation has been given to them to operate the employment agency for one year from 14 July, 2022.
PS Cawaru thanked the General Manager of Pack Leader Limited, Mr Luke Wyley and his team for their foresight in registering an employment agency to recruit our Fijian Workers for overseas employment.
Similarly, Mr Wyley expressed his sincere appreciation to the Permanent Secretary and his team for their support towards the authorsation process in obtaining a license to recruit and enlist potential Fijians for employment opportunities in Australia.
