The Minister for Education, Mr Filipe Bole will be in Gau next Wednesday to visit the 9 primary schools and Gau Secondary School.
On Wednesday, the Minister will be at Nukuloa Village School, Nawaikama District, Sawaieke District and Gau Secondary.
Lamiti/Malawai District, Vanuaso District, Nacavanadi Village School, Vione Primary and Navukailagi District will be visited on Thursday.
The last school to be visited before the Minister returns to Suva on Friday will be Narocake District School, which is near the airstrip in Gau.
The Minister is looking forward to meeting the students, teachers and school committees during this visit. This is an ideal opportunity for the Minister and his group of Education Officers to assess the development of education in the island in order to improve the facilities and more importantly students’ academic work in the classroom.
