Education Minister, Mr Filipe Bole will begin his school visit in Kadavu today, Wednesday, May 26.
His visit begins this afternoon at Kadavu Provincial Secondary School and Kavala Primary School. On Thursday, the Minister will be at Richmond High School in the morning and at Vunisea Secondary School in the afternoon.
In this visit, the Minister will meet with students, teachers and school managements to highlight the Ministry’s plans and initiatives to improve education in Fiji.
By highlighting each school’s performance in the external examinations, strategies for school improvement would then be discussed.
This is also an opportunity for the Minister to be briefed on school needs and other avenues that need to be explored for the betterment of education in Kadavu.
The Minister is expected to return to Suva on Friday.
