Parents filling in forms for the transport assistance scheme will have to be honest and forthright with regards to their submissions in annual income.
The Education Ministry will not hesitate to take parents to task if they are caught submitting false information.
The Ministry would like to reiterate that this assistance will be for families that are really in need or those who rightly deserve to be assisted.
In one of its earlier releases, the Ministry had categorically stated that parents, whose combined income is more $15,000.00, and who would like to be assisted would have to fill the form and with supporting documents to prove their need for assistance.
Finally, the Ministry trusts that this will guide parents to fill their forms in a manner that upholds the integrity of parenthood and the right way to live and lead our children into the future.
Minister for Education, National Heritage, Culture and Arts, Youth and Sports, Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment, Mr Filipe Bole
