Attorney General and Minister for Finance Hon. Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum met with Australia’s Minister for International Development Hon. Steven Ciobo MP on Tuesday to discuss investment and trade opportunities between Fiji and Australia. They also discussed collaboration between the two countries in the areas of seasonal work, human resources and commercial growth.
The Attorney General said that Fiji and Australia are exploring numerous avenues to deepen their strong economic relationship and encourage greater engagement.
He also acknowledged Australia’s recent support of Fiji’s civil service reform programme as an indicator of the strong ties between the two countries.
