Fiji will host an international women conference later this year designed to foster and strengthen relations between female leaders in the greater Asia Pacific region.
The meeting which is being organised by the Pan Pacific South East Asian Women’s Association (PPSEAWA) is scheduled to take place in August in Suva.
The Organisation aims to strengthen the bonds of peace by fostering a better understanding and friendship among women of all Pacific and South East Asia area, and to promote co-operation among the women of these regions for the study and improvement of existing social conditions.
PPSEAWA conducts an international conference every three years which has seen Fiji’s consistence attendance.
