Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum launched Fiji Water's 100 percent recycled-PET bottles in Yaqara yesterday (01/04/22). Fiji Water bottles apart from being recyclable are now made from 100% recycled plastic.
While congratulating the company, the #AG highlighted that this initiative directly supports the Fijian Government's commitment to modernising our economy through sustainable measures and contributes domestically and globally to Fiji's overall commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and build climate resilience.
An informal talanoa session was also held with the staff to address any concerns they had - particularly in relation to the revised 2021-2022 national budget and the initiatives that came into effect yesterday.
