The Attorney-General and Minister for Finance, Public Service, Public Enterprises and Communications Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum met this evening with Airbus' Senior Vice President (Pacific), Isabelle Floret and the company's Sales Director, Paul Tuck.
The courtesy meeting was an opportunity for the Attorney-General and the senior officials from Airbus to look at developments within Fiji's airline sector.
Fiji's national carrier Fiji Airways has recently procured 3 A330 aircraft from Airbus - the world's leading commercial aircraft manufacturer. The company's product line includes the A320, the widebody long range A330-800, the next generation A350 and the flagship A380.
