24 June, Canberra: Fiji’s High Commissioner to Australia, Mr Yogesh Punja, presented his Letter of Credence to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, the Hon. Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) at the Government House in Canberra.
The presentation marks the formal commencement of the High Commissioner’s service in Canberra. High Commissioner Punja presented his credentials along with the Apostolic Nunciature representative of the Holy See, the Cambodian Ambassador and the Samoan High Commissioner.
Prior to the credence presentation, High Commissioner Punja was invited to inspect a Guard of Honor.
