Fijian President His Excellency Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will this week travel to South America on an official visit to Brazil and the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
The visit follows the invitation of the Presidents of the two countries through high level engagement to further strengthen relations between the countries bilaterally and through international organisations such as the South – South Cooperation and the Group of 77 plus China (G77).
HE Ratu Epeli Nailatikau is visiting Brazil as part of his plans to visit all of Fiji’s missions as a show of commitment and solidarity.
Following his visit to Brasilia, the Fijian Head of State will travel to Santa Cruz, Bolivia at the invitation of the Bolivian President to attend the 50th anniversary of the G77 plus China.
The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will also be attending the 50th anniversary of the G77.
