Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum conducted face-to-face consultations on the revised 2021-2022 National Budget with members of the public at Cuvu College in Sigatoka today.
The AG addressed the issue of rising sugar prices, stating that any commodity would eventually experience a rise in price and that sugar prices have been the same for the past years, with about 70 per cent of sugar prices going to farmers.
He also discussed non-communicable diseases, highlighting their dangers and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
