The Education Ministry proudly announces the release of the 2009 Fiji Intermediate Examination Results.
Schools can now collect their results from their respective District Education Offices tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7.
A total of 6,257 Class 6 students sat for the examination in July. The number of candidates has increased by 828 compared to 2008.
The FIE was offered as an alternative to the Fiji Islands Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (FILNA). While 268 primary schools remained with the FIE, 437 had opted for FILNA.
This year is the last year in which FIE will feature as a national examination at Class 6 level.
