“We have seven fire fighters from Labasa, two from Savusavu and one from Taveuni attending this training program.”
“Two Police officers are also attending this training program which is a first time for them and it is good to have the Police teaming up with NFA in preparation of rescue operations.
“The main purpose of this course is to up skill our fire fighters on flood and swift water rescue operations.”
This program will further enhance the skills of our fire fighters for rescue operations during any natural disaster,” Mr Pillay said.
