First school to adopt Name Change

08/12/2010

Naduruloulou Fijian School turned a new chapter as it took on its new name  “Kasavu Primary School” this afternoon.

This is the first school in the province of Naitasiri if not Fiji, to take on the new challenge of motivating its young generation to think communally
in the inter-racial and culturally inter active society we live in.

The school changed its name to coincide with the Government reforms stemming from the Peoples Charter for Peace Change and Progress.

At hand to unveil the new name was the Prime Minister and Minister for the Peoples Charter for Peace, Change and Progress, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.

Commodore Bainimarama was officiating at the pass out of 83 cadets from Kasavu Primary School and the nearby villages of Kasavu, Verata Wailevu, Visa and Naqeledamu when invited to unveil the new name of the school.
