Form Seven for Cicia High School

09/03/2011

The Education Minister, Mr Filipe Bole officially launched Form 7 at Cicia High School this morning.

In his address at the launching ceremony, Mr  Bole praised the school administration and teachers for the attainment of 100 per cent pass in the Fiji Junior Certificate Examination for the last couple of years.

Their Fiji School Leaving Certificate Examination pass rate has always been above the national pass rate.

The community members were also acknowledged for the support rendered to the only secondary school on the island.

“The beautiful set up of the school and the fine academic performance of your island students speaks of the support of the village community,” said Mr Bole.

Students of Cicia will now be freed from the trouble of searching for Form 7 places in the major cities and towns.

Trips to Suva or Lautoka will only be for entry into the Tertiary Institutions and for the job market.

On the first day of his school visit to Cicia, the minister and his team of education officers toured the four primary schools, that are Cicia District School, Mabula District School, Natokalau District School and Tabutoga District School.

The launching of the Form 7 at Cicia High School was the highlight of the minister’s school visit to Cicia.
