Global Compassion Ministry today loaded about 12 tons of food ration for flood victims in the Lautoka and Ba areas.
This is the second donation that Global Compassion has contributed to flood relief efforts with boxes of clothes and groceries.
Global Compassion said that 480 boxes will be delivered to the Office of the Commissioner Western in Lautoka and the remaining 444 boxes will be delivered to the DISMAC office in Ba.
“Global Compassion has distributed 23.7 tons of food items which is more than two thousand (2,000) cartons of food totaling more than FJD60,000,” Reverend Suliasi Kurulo, chairman of Global Compassion, said.
