Police have confirmed that there are two casualties directly related to the flooding in the western division.

The body of a Fijian man was retrieved from his vehicle after it was swept away by strong currents yesterday in Nadi. In a separate incident, the body of a 20 year old Fijian male was retrieved yesterday from the Raviravi creek in Ba.

Ministry of Information permanent secretary Sharon Smith Johns is urging the public to take head of the warnings given by the DISMAC office and to limit or restrict movements.
