The Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts today announced winners for the Home Learning Video Competition which was launched on 12 July 2021.
Students in Years 1 to 13 had the opportunity to win stationery and a tablet with data for home learning. Primary and secondary school students had to create a 90-second video showing how they were continuing their education during the school closure.
The Ministry received a total of 829 video entries from students nationwide, showcasing their talent and creativity.
Minister for Education Rosy Akbar, said “I am delighted with the caliber of entries we received and I am proud to say that our children are extremely talented. Despite the difficult academic year, our students have kept engaged in learning. Parental support is visible through the entries and I thank our parents and guardians for their continued contribution and encouragement. I thank all my children who participated, because it is not easy to put together thoughts in the form of a video message. I congratulate the 24 winners and wish them a wonderful educational journey ahead”.
The judges had a difficult time in selecting winners, as all video entries were amazing.
