The Housing Authority (HA), on Thursday (12/8) officially opened its newly relocated office in Labasa.
The new office located at the FNPF complex was formally opened by the Commissioner Northern, Lieutenant Colonel Inia Seruiratu at a ceremony attended by the HA Board Chairman and Senior Management, local businesses, customers and stakeholders.
Located at Rosawa Street, the relocated office provides a modern office environment and friendly customer service facilities for customers.
The new space will house four staff and will offer a range of financing and insurance options including personal, land, home and content, education, legal and conveyance services, and payment of loans for customers in the Northern division.
“The Authority fully supports the ‘Look North Policy’ of the government and with the opening of our new office the Authority is significantly increasing its presence in the
North. We see ourselves as being part of this community and encourage the public to make use of our services in acquiring land or purchase of their first home” said Housing Authority Board Chairman, Lieutenant Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga
Lt. Colonel Tikoitoga added, “As part of the expansion plan to grow our business and network, The Authority is committed to servicing the growing north customers more
effectively and enhance the quality of the long-term relationships we pride ourselves on, in community building and empowering our customers."
The new office opening is also part of the Authority’s effort to promote its brand awareness and visibility to the local community. In conjunction with the Labasa office
opening, Housing Authority will also be hosting an Open day from 12pm on Friday, 13th August and Saturday 14th August from 9am to 3pm.

Housing Authority currently has five office branches operating in Suva, Valelevu, Nadi, Lautoka and Labasa.
