The Fijian Government has just lifted the embargo for carrying inbound passengers into the country.
Air Pacific will now make all attempts possible to get passengers on flights returning to Fiji today from Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, and Los Angeles. However, please be advised that due to the short notice, all return flights except the flight from Los Angeles will not be catered with meals.
The following flights will now operate and will accept passengers holding tickets for flights going to Nadi, Fiji today, 2 April.
FJ410 – Auckland to Nadi (1445L AKL departure)
FJ910 – Sydney to Nadi (1410L SYD departure)
FJ412 – Auckland to Nadi (1900L AKL departure)
FJ922 – Brisbane to Nadi (2355L BNE departure)
In addition, tonight’s (1 April) flight from Los Angeles to Nadi will also operate as noted:
FJ811 – Los Angeles to Nadi (2330L (1 April) LAX departure)
Please note all times noted above are local airport times
Passengers do not need to have re-validated or amended tickets for today’s flights. The flights are tentatively scheduled to depart at the times noted below; however, due to the short notice communication/message from Fiji, customers should expect some boarding/departure delays. In addition, certain flights noted above will not be catered with food or meals.
All affected passenger and those holding tickets for other flights will be able to rebook themselves on next available inbound flight to Nadi.
These passengers will also be able to change their travel dates without fees and penalties through April 30, 2012*, and they may also request refunds should they wish to cancel their travel plans to Fiji.
